Southwater Vets offers a comprehensive rhinoscopy service. This hard-to-reach cavity needs very specific endoscopy camera equipment to allow us to examine the inner workings of your pet’s nose.  We will often combine this specialised camera technique with a CT scan to diagnose the problem completely.

What do we often find?

• Foreign bodies
• Fungal infections
• Tumours
• Inflammation and allergies

For a lot of the problems with noses, we rely heavily on biopsies and samples we take during the procedure.

3D imaging with CT is often essential for foreign body retrieval as the objects can work their way into odd locations over time.

We offer a fully endoscopic (non-surgical) aspergillosis treatment option as well should your loved one need it.
