Highlighting potential pet grass seed hazards

Highlighting potential pet grass seed hazards

Grass seeds may look harmless, but at this time of year they can cause real problems for pets.

Their shape means they can easily become lodged in:

👂 Ears
🐾 Paws (especially between toes)
👁️ Eyes
🦴 Under the skin

Once attached, they can move deeper and cause irritation, discomfort and even infection quite quickly.

Signs like head shaking, limping and licking paws can often mean there is a grass seed issue!

If something doesn’t seem right, it’s always best to get it checked sooner rather than later so do keep in touch with us!
